About the Business

FarmLink Research Ltd is a member-led Farming Systems Group, based at the Temora Agricultural Innovation Centre in South West NSW. Our primary focus is to coordinate and deliver private, public and grower funded research, development and extension (RD&E) that enhances the productivity and sustainability of Australia agriculture. Our location on a research and commercial farm enables us to partner with many different RD&E agencies, including government and corporate, to host a broad range of trials.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver a range of research, development and extension activities across the portfolio of FarmLink projects to create value to our members and broader stakeholder community. The role will involve positive engagement, project identification and oversight, infield trial implementation and data capture, extension activities and the authoring of high-quality research reports tailored to members and partners. This is a ‘hands on’ role and would suit a recent graduate or someone with current experience.

The role requires a discipline of sound governance and process improvement to enable the delivery of all project milestones and outcomes through the FarmLink team and 3rd parties. In the role you will report to the Operations Manager and work with a team of experienced Research and Extension Officers to deliver operational activities within the project portfolio.

To be successful in the role will require the application of both strategic and practical hands-on knowledge and in-field technical skills.
